    Compliance at DB Cargo Logistics

    Protecting our values.

    Our Code of Conduct:

DB Group's Code of Conduct is the fundamental rule for our coexistence within the Group and our business activities.

We expect compliance with rules and integrity not only from ourselves, but also from our suppliers and service providers. The DB Code of Conduct for Business Partners provides binding guidance in this regard.

We deal openly with all conflicts of interest. This applies to secondary employment as well as invitations and gifts. Transparency is the key to a solution here.

The sanctions against Russia currently pose a particular challenge for us as a transporter of goods by rail and road.

    Sustainable supply chains:

DB Cargo Logistics is committed to respecting human rights and protecting the environment.

At DB Cargo Logistics, we take responsibility for our work in Germany - but also in all other countries in which we operate. We therefore also expect our suppliers to treat people and the environment with respect as the basis for a reliable partnership.

With the introduction of the German Act on Corporate Due Diligence Obligations in Supply Chains (Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz, "LkSG") the legislator has created the framework for responsible and sustainable value creation along the entire supply chain. As DB Cargo Logistics, we comply with the requirements of the LkSG.

    Complaint procedure

To ensure compliance with the LkSG in our own business operations and in the supply chain, we have established a complaint procedure. Information about human and environment-related risks and violations can be submitted there.

The complaint procedure can be accessed via the link Complaint procedure in accordance with the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act. Further information can also be found in our rules of procedure.

    Declaration of principle

In our policy statement, we express our commitment and dedication to respecting human rights and environmental responsibilities.

    Whistleblowing:

DB Cargo Logistics GmbH has set up an internal reporting office to ensure our compliance and to fulfil our obligations under the German Whistleblower Protection Act (Hinweisgeberschutzgesetz, “HinSchG”).

There you can report a concrete suspicion of a serious violation of laws and DB rules.

DB Cargo Logistics GmbH has entrusted DB Cargo Compliance with the tasks of the internal reporting office in accordance with the provisions of the Whistleblower Protection Act.
